Bruce Bohlen has lived in rural Hastings, Nebraska all his life. Brought up on the family farm, Bruce developed a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Driven by the desire to share the beauty of creation, Bruce devotes time to travel the world, capturing images of magnificent wildlife and scenery in its natural form. He has also been touched by the people he encounters, and brings various cultures for you to experience.
     Bruce has traveled to Alaska, Patagonia, Curacao, Greenland, Canada, Africa, and various areas within the United States. His images have been exhibited in galleries, and won awards in art shows across his home state. He is a member of North American Nature Photographer Association (NANPA), and National Parks Conservation Association. Bruce has been invited as guest speaker for Professional Photographers of Nebraska (PPN), judges photography shows and exhibits, and gives multi-media presentations to various groups and organizations.

"Photography is an avenue for me to express creativity and to experience the miracle of light. Nature and the outdoors are an integral part of my life and livelihood. My desire is for the viewer of the image to be transported to that spot for a brief moment and experience the incredible beauty of creation."
